Dr Mohan’s Diabetes Centre hosts expo

Dr Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre (DMDSC) on Sunday hosted the city’s largest Diabetes expo. Over 10,000 participants, eminent doctors, and leading diabetologists were present. The expo featured informative sessions, doctor talks, health screenings, interactive workshops, and an exhibition showcasing the latest advancements in Diabetes care and technology.
During the event, DMDSC honoured Prof B K Sahay, Senior Diabetologist and former Professor and Head, Department of Medicine, Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad with the Lifetime Achievement Award, for his contribution in the field of diabetology. Following this, DMDSC also honoured Senior Diabetologists from the city, eminent Doctors from various other fields, healthcare professionals, researchers, social workers, and patients with Diabetes as ‘Legends of Hyderabad,’ and ‘Diabetes Warriors.’
Dr V Mohan, Chairman, DMDSC, said: “The Diabetes Expo 2024 is a testament to our commitment to combating diabetes and its complications. It brings together the best minds in the field to share knowledge and inspire action. We are proud to see such an overwhelming participation, and are dedicated to continuing our efforts in spreading awareness about lifestyle changes to improve the lives of people with diabetes in Hyderabad.”
The event was inaugurated by Justice N V Ramana, former Chief Justice of India, Dr D Nageshwar Reddy, Chairman and Chief of Gastroenterology, Asian Institute of Gastroenterology and AIG Hospitals, Hyderabad, and K Satish Reddy, Chairman, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Hyderabad in the presence of diabetologist Dr V Mohan, Chairman and Chief Diabetologist, DMDSC, Dr R M Anjana, Managing Director, DMDSC, and others.
