CEPT University organises plantation drive

Mumbai, Sep 17
CEPT University organised a plantation drive today to promote climate awareness and instill a sense of responsibility among its new undergraduate students. The students planted 36 native trees —including Indian Gooseberry, Mulberry, Indian Blackberry, Mango, and Wild Indian Almond—across 600 square meters on the north side of the campus, further increasing the tree count and densifying the greenery on the campus.
The drive was jointly organised by the CEPT Foundation Programme, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Interior Designers (IIID) and The Indian Institute of Architects, Ahmedabad Centre, and supported by the Master’s in Landscape Architecture program offered by the Faculty of Architecture. Conducted under IIID’s Green Initiative, the activity witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students.
