CBSE Class 12th Compartment Result 2025 declared; girls lead with higher pass percentage.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the CBSE Class 12th Compartment Exam Result 2025. Students who appeared for the supplementary exams can now check and download their scorecards from the official website — cbseresults.nic.in. Results are also available on the Indian Express Education portal at education.indianexpress.com.
This year, the supplementary exams were conducted across 14,010 schools and 963 exam centres, with 1,43,581 candidates registered. Out of these, 1,38,666 students appeared and 53,201 passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 38.36%.
Girls Outshine Boys Once Again
In a clear margin, girls outperformed boys in the supplementary exams. The pass percentage among girls stood at 41.35%, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 36.79%, marking a difference of 4.56%.
Foreign Schools See Better Results
For CBSE-affiliated schools abroad, 918 out of 938 registered candidates appeared, with 486 students passing, resulting in a significantly higher pass percentage of 52.94%.
Performance of Specially-Abled Students
Among Children With Special Needs (CWSN), 278 candidates registered and 273 appeared. Out of them, 137 students passed, recording a pass percentage of 50.18%.
Important Dates and Additional Information
- The CBSE Class 12 compartment exams were held on July 15, 2025, across India and in 26 countries worldwide.
- The verification of marks for these exams will begin from August 6, 2025.
Recap of CBSE Main Results 2025
- CBSE Class 10 Results: Declared on May 13. Out of 23,85,079 registered, 22,21,636 passed.
- CBSE Class 12 Results: Out of 17,04,367 registered, 14,96,307 passed.
CBSE has consistently aimed to conduct results on time in recent years, with the main board exam results being announced on May 13 in 2024 and 2025. In previous years affected by the pandemic, results were delayed to July or August.
