Outstanding Development Over the Weekend
With a modest opening of Rs 1.35 crore on Friday, the movie saw a 150% increase in revenue on Saturday, reaching Rs 3.25 crore, thanks to word-of-mouth and family audiences. By Sunday, the movie's earnings increased by another 110% to an estimated Rs 6.50-7.00 crore, for a total of Rs 11.25 crore.
Animated Success for the First Time in Almost 20 Years
Mahavatar Narsimha was shown on 800 Hindi-language screens on Friday, but because of popular demand, it was shown on 1,100 screens on Saturday and 2,000 on Sunday. The movie has set a new standard for Indian animated films with its powerful mythological concept and widespread appeal to families. It has attracted sizable crowds in both major cities and small areas.
