Blinkit Q4 Results: EBITDA Losses Surges to ₹178 Crore

Quick commerce platform Blinkit reported EBITDA losses for Q4FY25 touching ₹178 crore, against ₹103 crore in the previous quarter. The losses ballooned on the back of aggressive store expansion and infrastructure expansion strategy.
During the reported quarter, Blinkit added 294 stores, the highest-ever addition in a single quarter. This takes the total number of operational stores to 1,301. However, 40% of these remain underutilised as they opened in the previous two quarters.
Revenue surged by 122% YoY to clock at ₹1,709 crore, against ₹769 crore in the previous year.
As per the company’s statement, Blinkit said that profitability is not the priority right now. Average number of monthly transacting customers surged from 10.6 million in Q4FY24 to 13.7 million in Q4FY25.
Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa said the company advanced many store launches originally scheduled for FY26, stating, “This was a conscious call to pre-empt competition and strengthen our footprint.”
