BIG BREAKING | Drones spotted in Gujarat’s Kutch after India-Pakistan ceasefire deal

Just hours after India and Pakistan announced a full and immediate ceasefire following weeks of heightened tension, multiple drones were spotted flying over Gujarat’s Kutch district. In response, authorities have enforced a complete blackout in the area, confirmed Surat MLA and Minister of State for Home, Harsh Sanghavi.
The ceasefire agreement was declared after a series of intense missile exchanges between the two nuclear-armed nations. The conflict was triggered by a deadly terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22 that killed 26 people.
U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed the ceasefire after overnight negotiations mediated by the United States. Both New Delhi and Islamabad have acknowledged the agreement, marking a crucial step toward de-escalation.
Meanwhile, concerns over national security remain high. Union Minister Jitendra Singh announced enhanced security at critical scientific and technical installations across border states including Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, and Gujarat. Key weather monitoring stations in Srinagar and Leh will also receive increased protection.
Back in Gujarat, the Chief Minister convened a high-level review at the State Emergency Operation Centre in Gandhinagar. Officials discussed the coordination between state and central agencies to maintain public safety, ensure the supply of essential goods, and keep transportation and communication channels running smoothly.
Citizens are advised to stay indoors, avoid spreading misinformation, and follow government updates as the situation develops.
