BGMI 4.0 Update Release Date and Time
The BGMI 4.0 update, Spooky Soiree, shall start its phased rollout today (September 11, 2025).
Android (Google Play Store):
- 30% Percentage Rollout by 6:30 AM IST
- 50% Percentage Rollout by 9:30 AM IST
- 100% Percentage Rollout by 11:30 AM IST
- iOS (Apple App Store): Full Rollout by 9:30 AM IST
Those who prefer to download the update from the official BGMI website will be able to do so once it opens at 12:30 PM IST.
BGMI 4.0 Update Size and How to Download
The update is being released on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Here is how you do it:
- Open Play Store or App Store.
- Search Battleground Mobile India (BGMI).
- Tap Update.
- After 12:30 PM IST, you can directly download the APK file from the official BGMI website.
Requirements and Eligible Devices for BGMI 4.0 Update
BGMI, being a resource-intensive sport, needs a fully capable smartphone to perform smoothly.
- Minimum Requirements
6 GB of RAM at least
Mid-range or above processing unit for lag metrics
- Performance Note:
Phones below the ₹20,000 price range can run BGMI on low graphics settings perfectly fine. And so, avoid any device with less than 6GB RAM and/of processors considered outdated.
