APTS (Advanced Public Technology Services) is launching an extensive awareness campaign to prevent cyber frauds, aiming to educate citizens on safe digital practices and strengthen online security across platforms.

Andhra Pradesh Technology Services has decided to launch an awareness campaign on cybersecurity to prevent digital arrest, siphoning off of funds and other frauds by cyber crooks.

Besides supervising the IT Infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh for 24 hours, APTS Cyber Security wing is playing a pivotal role in extending security and issuing early warnings on cyber threats thus keeping the IT infrastructure safe.

Briefing media persons on their programmes, APTS Chairman Mannava Mohan Krishna, said that they will organise cybersecurity awareness programmes across the State on frauds and preventive measures to be taken

APTS on Thursday conducted a State-level cybersecurity hackathon and issued internships to 30 persons

who participated in it. The APTS will soon organise more such hackathons to train more and more persons as cybersecurity experts

APTS is also planning to extend to the private sector too and to other States as well, following which the revenue of the State on cybersecurity auditing will increase considerably.

APTS will be a platform for upgrading the skills of IT experts which will help them get better employment in IT companies.

Mohan Krishna said APTS received excellent response from IT students and experts during the selection process conducted across the State for cybersecurity internees.

Of the 1952 applications received, 348 have been shortlisted. Of these shortlisted persons, 30 persons have been selected for imparting training in the Cyber Security sector
