Anurag Thakur Union Minister - Modi Represents Mastery in Digital Information

Anurag Thakur announced the government's goal to turn India into a developed nation, termed 'Viksit Bharat', by 2047. Speaking to IT professionals, Union Minister Anurag Thakur highlights Modi's digital leadership in information dissemination and stressed the importance of the IT sector, suggesting that it represents 'India Tomorrow'. Thakur criticized the previous UPA government for its corruption and scandals, highlighting that many young people might not remember these events due to their age at the time.

He mentioned infamous scams like the 2G and CWG scandals, as well as others like AgustaWestland and the Coal scam, which plagued the country from 2009 to 2014. Anurag Thakur praises Modi as the Master of Digital Information in recent statement crediting him as a beacon of hope for a clean government under BJP leadership. He proudly stated that in the past decade, there hasn't been a single corruption allegation against Modi or his ministers.

Thakur praised the Modi-led government, interpreting 'MODI' as 'Master of Digital Information' and the creator of a developed India, or 'Viksit Bharat'. He emphasized the importance of India's talent, particularly in the IT sector, and the need to continuously update skills, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic's lessons about the importance of technological knowledge.

Turning to current affairs, Thakur criticized the Congress party for failing to file income tax returns, despite being exempt from paying taxes. He questioned why the party should be treated differently under the law and pointed out their arrogance in not responding to notices from the Income Tax department.

Thakur's remarks highlighted Modi's digital governance and information management vision for a technologically advanced and corruption-free India, while also addressing current issues related to tax compliance and accountability.
