YSRCP denies charges on diversion of Srivani Trust funds

Former TTD Chairman and YSRCP leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy strongly condemned the campaign being spread by Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu and his allies against the misuse of Srivani Trust funds during the previous regime.
He stated that allegations claiming Srivani funds were diverted to Tadepalli are nothing but false narrative being spread by the coalition to mislead devotees.
Karunakar Reddy clarified that the Srivani Trust was established to construct temples across the nation with special darshan tickets priced at Rs.10,000, an initiative launched under YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s leadership. “Not a single rupee was mobilised for Srivani during Naidu’s regime, but under Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Government, over Rs.20,380 crore has been deposited into the trust since 2019. It was only because of Jagan Mohan Reddy that this Ttust flourished,” he asserted.
The former TTD Chairman highlighted that 3,500 temples were completed during the YSRCP rule, including the renovation of 300 ancient shrines. “Had Jagan continued in power, one lakh temples would have been established across the country through Srivani funds,” he said.
