Waltair Rly Division sets record by surpassing target

Visakhapatnam: Waltair Division of Indian Railways has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing the loading target of 78.45 million tonnes for the first time in any financial year. This remarkable feat was accomplished 24 days ahead of the close of the financial year, marking a historic moment for the division. Divisional Railway Manager Lalit Bohra congratulated the entire team for their exceptional performance in surpassing the target and achieving 78.46 million tonnes of loading. He described March 7, 2026 as a landmark date that will be remembered in the annals of Waltair Division and expressed pride in the dedication and collective efforts of the Team Waltair that made this achievement possible.
