VCB opens new branch in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam: Visakhapatnam Cooperative Bank(VCB) has opened its 60th branch here at Yendada. The new branch of the leading cooperative bank which has over 100 years of glorious history beginning its journey as a single-branch bank, was declared open by District Collector M N Harendhira Prasad. Bank Chairman JV Satyanarayana Murthy, District Co-operative Officer T Praveena, a veteran in cooperative bank movement and former MLA Manam Anjaneyu, Vice President of Citizen Cooperative Society P R V P S Rangaraju, Director of Federation of AP Cooperative Banks and Cooperative Societies M Venkataratnam, Chairman of Sri Kanakamahalakshmi Cooperative Bank Kommareddy Rambabu, Chairman of Maharaja Cooperative Bank MRK Raju and others were present. In his message, Satyanarayana Murthy,said that they are planning to advance loans to the tune of Rs100 crore in the next five years through the newly opened branch. Bank directors Veeraganta Chandrasekhara, Janardhana Rao, Adinarayana Shastri, Prasada Rao, Parvathi Devi, Koteswara Rao, Narayanaswamy, Dr Krishnamohana Rao, Chukkapalli Rama Rao, Acharya Anjaiah, Narasimha Murthy, Mallikarjuna Rao, Srikanta Babu, CR Sukumar, CEO VVB Varalakshm and others were present.
