Modi-Naidu combination will make India No 1, says Union Minister Shivraj Singh
Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu after unveiling the statue of former Prime Minister and BJP stalwart Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Amaravati on Thursday

Amaravati: Union Minister of Agriculture Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday stated that Andhra Pradesh is marching towards Quantum Yug and expressedthe hope that Amaravati will emerge as a great capital city in future.
He said while Prime Minister Narendra Modi is marching ahead to achieve Viksit Bharat by 2047, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is taking initiative to establish Healthy, Wealthy and Happy Andhra Pradesh to achieve Swarnandhra Pradesh. He described both Modi and Naidu combination will make the country No. 1. Earlier, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu unveiled the statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Venkatapalem in Amaravati capital region today on the occasion of Good Governance Day Atal Bihari Vajpayee centenary celebrations. Later they planted saplings in Vajpayee memorial park.
Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister described Vajpayee as a great patriot and Ajata Satru. He said former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru also recognized the efficiency and stature of Vajpayee and stated that one day Vajpayee would become Prime Minister. He said Vajpayee also played a constructive role while in Opposition and supported Indira Gandhi to protect the interests of the country. He said Vajpayee proved the might of India through Pokhran atomic tests.
Chief Minister Naidu said that Atal Behari Vajpayee was instrumental in introducing good governance in the country and laid strong foundation for development of infrastructure including national highways and the telecom. He said that he got inspiration from Vajpayee and TDP founder NT Rama Rao who strived hard for the welfare of people and development of the country.
Naidu said that the Vajpayee memorial park will be developed in Amaravati to showcase the stellar role played by Vajpayee as a national leader. He described Vajpayee as a great humanist and poet. Vajpayee proposed the first golden quadrilateral corridor between Chennai and Tada. He was also instrumental in the development of Hyderabad airport with an open sky policy, he informed.
The Chief Minister said the development is possible with completing projects under PPP mode.
