TTD and Prime Minister's Office's Dial Your EO program at Tirumala on Friday marked several important announcements that may relate to the visiting devotees' stay on the holy hill area during Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan. On an interactive session where the EO met with the common devotees who had applied to meet him, the happening saw him sharing the main facts concerning developments, achievements and detailed arrangements for pilgrims.
Major Highlights from EO's address
Grand Success of Tiruchanoor Brahmotsavams
TTD has stated that Tiruchanoor Brahmotsavams, which were hosted from November 17 to 25, were a grand success attracting devotees in huge numbers, accompanied by the annual Karthika Brahmotsavams of Goddess Sri Padmavati Gunnur.
10-Day Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan from December 30
This year the unique Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan, this year lasting for 10 days, will commence on December 30 and close on January 8 giving an extended period for the darshan work of the devotees.
The particular devotees take a high-level priority.
Of the 182 total hours of time allocated for darshan over the 10 days, TTD has provided a generous amount of 164 hours exclusively for the general public so that the common man can access it to the level.
Arrangement of 7.70 Lakh Pilgrims:
Darshan has been arranged for 7.70 lakh pilgrims for the Lakshmi Vaikuntham period with effective crowd management and easy movement.
E-dip Electronic System for Sarva Darshan watches tokens
The e-dip video is negating the issuance of sarvadarshan tokens for December 30, 31, and Jan. 1, aimed at offering equal chances to all.
Nearly 25 lakh devotees had applied through the e-darshan by the time it was open from November 27 to December 1.
On December 2, the scheme was started with 1.70lakh Sarvadarshan tokens all set.
Eradication of SED & SRIVANI Darshan.
SED and SRIVANI darshans will be closed for the first 3 days.
For the next 7 days:
SRIVANI tickets will open online from December 5, at 10 AM (1,000 tickets per day).
Special entry darshan (SED) tickets will be available at 15,000 per day (3 PM).
VQC-2 For The Visa Entry Darshan
Starting from 2nd to 8nd Jan, all Sarva Darshan pilgrims will be routed through VQC-2 for better management of crowding.
Other Important Rules
- There will be no issue of Sarva Darshan tokens in Tirupati town during these days of Vaikuntham 10 days.
- There will be no special darshan anymore.
- Only protocol darshan will be for the dignitaries visiting personally.
- Online donor ticket booking will begin on the 5th of December at 10 AM.
- The local devotees can book the darshan from 6, 7, and 8 January online, which starts on December 10.
- Senior officials of the TTD also attended the Maha Panchayat, including Additional EO Sri C. H. Venkayya Chowdary, CV&SO Sri Murali Krishna, CE Sri Satyanarayana, and others.
