UBL Starts Kingfisher Production at Ilios Brewery in AP

United Breweries Limited (UBL), part of the Heineken Company, has commenced production of its flagship brand Kingfisher at the recently leased Ilios Brewery in East Godavari.

This marks a significant milestone as UBL strengthens its manufacturing footprint in Andhra Pradesh. Equipped with best-in-class infrastructure, Ilios Brewery has a monthly capacity of up to 4.5 lakh cases of beer, complementing the 12 lakh case capacity of the Srikakulam brewery to meet the region’s growing demand for high-quality beer.

Speaking on the occasion, Vivek Gupta, MD & CEO of United Breweries said “the commencement of production at Ilios Brewery reiterates our commitment to sustainable growth in Andhra Pradesh. By localizing production, strengthening our supply chain and creating long-term value for the local ecosystem, we are well positioned to meet rising consumer demand."

Ilios Brewery supports over 500 livelihoods through direct and indirect employment, which also includes generating opportunities across ancillary industries such as packaging, logistics and distribution.
