Hyderabad: Srivani, Sri City’s Spiritual & Literary Forum, in collaboration with Wisdom Foundation (Hyderabad), hosted an inspiring talk by Vinay Ji on Wednesday in Sri City. The session, titled “Spirituality at Work”, was part of the Gita Mahotsava programme series, and brought together professionals, academics, and community members to explore the intersection of ancient wisdom and modern corporate life.
Y Srinivas Reddy, Managing Director of the Be’Rollex unit, welcomed the guest and introduced him to the audience, recounting his personal experiences as an ardent follower of Vinay Ji.
Vinay Ji, renowned philosopher and founder of the Wisdom Foundation, delivered a thought provoking lecture on the relevance of Sanatana Dharma in today’s professional world. Drawing from the Bhagavad Gita, he explained how spirituality transforms work by fostering duty without attachment and equanimity in success or failure. He highlighted Karma Yoga as a framework for ethical leadership, resilience, and inner discipline, while also clarifying the modes of Rajas (restless productivity), Satva (peaceful prosperity), and Tamas (withdrawal leading to renewed purpose). Stressing self management, he urged participants to renounce distractions, cultivate awareness, and embrace purposeful action, concluding that true workplace spirituality is wisdom guiding action.
Sri City, the Managing Director Dr Ravindra Sannareddy in a message extended heartfelt thanks to Vinay ji for accepting to visit Sri City and address the industry fraternity on a very useful subject. He expressed confidence that the participants will derive immense benefit from the insights shared.
Participants showed keen involvement during the Q&A, exploring ways to apply spiritual clarity to entrepreneurship, team dynamics, and personal growth.
