Visakhapatnam: One of the key highlights of the second edition of the Andhra Pradesh Digital Technology Summit and the first of its kind AP Innovators’ Summit here on Friday was the signing of two investment agreements under the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) SAMRIDH 2.0 Scheme.

As part of this initiative, CairoVision Pvt. Ltd., a DeepTech AI and Solar Analytics startup, and Aerogravity Pvt. Ltd., a drone technology startup, received`30 lakhs in matching funding, enabling them to scale autonomous drone platforms for enterprise, defence, and government applications.

Further reinforcing its commitment to talent development and industry–academia collaboration, ANAND PAG India offered eight paid internship opportunities to students of KIET, providing them with hands-on industry exposure and real-world experience aligned with emerging and future technology demands.

The support of the State Government & STPI, Government of India, AP Digital Technology Industry (APDTI) Network—an Industry Forum launched the two-day 2nd Edition of the AP Digital Technology Summit 26 and AP Innovators Summit 26 here on the theme “Beyond

Automation: The Intelligent Era-Empowering AP through Innovation, DeepTech Skills, and Convergence.” Importantly, this event is formally recognized by the India AI Mission as a pre-summit event for the India AI Impact Summit 26, which is being organized by the Government of India. This is the first-of-its-kind summit covering six sectors of digital technology such as IT, ITeS, AI & Emerging Tech, Industry 4.0, MedTech & HealthTech, and Creative Tech (AVGC), focusing on innovation, deep-tech skills, and convergence. This event is attended by more than 800 delegates including CXOs, Business Leaders, Academia, Startups, and career aspirants from across AP. The opening day of the summit focused on Agentic and Generative AI, Cloud-Native technologies, Global Capability Centers (GCCs), Digital Twins, Cyber Security, and Intelligent Process Automation (iPA), while the second day will focus on Innovation, Product Development, AI-driven XR innovations, AI toolkits, and startup funding. The event brought together renowned Indian and global speakers from leading multinational technology companies such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Bosch.

MP and GITAM (deemed to be university) President M. Shribharat emphasised that outcomes matter more than intentions or theoretical knowledge in today’s fast-moving global landscape.
