Hyderabad: Sircity hosted a high level brainstorming session on the Andhra Pradesh Circular Economy and Waste Recycling Policy (4.0), 2025–2030, under the chairmanship of Dr P Krishnaiah, Chairman, Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB). The session brought together government departments, industry recyclers, industrial associations, and sustainability experts to deliberate on the state’s pioneering waste to wealth framework.

Welcoming Dr Krishnaiah and the participants, Satish Kamat, President (Operations) outlined Sri City’s active commitment to the Reduce Reuse Recycle (3R) principles. He drew attention of the session to Sri City’s zero waste initiatives, notably the SCORE (Sri City Online Resource Exchange) Portal, and urged stakeholders to utilise the platform to strengthen 3R practices across the campus.

Dr Krishnaiah lauded Sri City’s pioneering sustainability initiatives, noting that it stands as a model for how industries can evolve into environmental friendly ecosystems. “Reusing treated wastewater, recycling industrial by products, and embracing renewable energy are commendable practices.
