Planning a Tirumala visit? TTD's May 2025 festival list includes major events like Ramanuja Jayanti, Garuda Seva, and Parinayotsavams.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams on Tuesday unveiled its May 2025 festival calendar, detailing five events at the hill shrine that draw pilgrims from across the region.
The schedule opens on May 1 with Ananthalwar Utsavam, marking the anniversary of Anantha Padmanabha’s consecration. A day later, on May 2, devotees will observe Bhashyakarla Sattumora alongside ceremonies for Ramanuja Jayanti and Sankara Jayanti. Padmavathi Srinivasa Parinayotsavams follows on May 6, commemorating the divine wedding of Venkateswara and Padmavathi.
Mid-month, on May 12, observances for Kurma Jayanti and a Garuda Seva will be held. The month closes with Hanuman Jayanti on May 22.
“The May lineup provides clear dates for those planning a pilgrimage,” said a TTD spokesperson. “Details on darshan slots and accommodation will be available on our official portal.”
Pilgrims can register for darshan and seva tickets beginning April 30 via ttd.org. Early booking is advised to secure preferred time slots and lodging on temple premises.
Each festival includes a ritual procession, Vedic recitations and offerings at the main temple. Devotees are advised to arrive at least two hours before scheduled rites to complete security checks and ticket formalities.
