RINL pays tributes to former CMD Mehra

Visakhapatnam: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, on Wednesday paid rich tributes to its former Chairman-cum-Managing Director J Mehra. RINL officers expressed deep sorrow and conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. Mehra joined RINL in January 1992 as Director (Operations) and later became CMD on June 1,1993. During his tenure, he successfully commissioned the second phase of the plant and stabilized production in key units such as Coke Ovens, Sinter Plant and Blast Furnace, laying strong systems and procedures that strengthened the organization during critical years. His leadership played a significant role in steering RINL towards operational stability and growth.
