Visakhapatnam: D Rakesh Nandan Sahay has assumed charge as Director, Personnel of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.
He brings with him over 29 years of rich experience in the field of human resources, with exposure to strategic HR, organisational development, industrial relations, and change management across the power, mining, renewable energy, and research sectors. Prior to joining RINL, Dr Sahay served in senior human resource leadership roles in NTPC and its joint ventures with IOC, CIL, and State Governments. He has handled HR functions for large greenfield and brownfield projects and has been associated with major project transitions and takeovers in thermal, hydro, gas, and mining sectors. His experience also includes organizational integration, employee engagement, leadership development, and strengthening HR systems in national level institutions. Dr Sahay is a gold medallist in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi, and holds a PhD in Commerce and Management.
