Amaravati: Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has allotted 50 acres at Amaravati for India's first Quantum Valley Tech Park.

Andhra Pradesh has expressed its keenness to position as leader in implementing the Government of India Quantum Computing Mission. AP Government recently signed MoUs with TCS and IBM to deploy next generation IBM Quantum System Two, TCS has partnered with IBM to advance India's quantum algorithm and app development.

The 47th meeting of CRDA, held here under the chairmanship of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday approved to call for tenders for the construction of residential towers for gazetted and non-gazetted officers in the core capital area at a cost of Rs1,732.31 crore.

Briefing media persons after the meeting, Minister for Municipal Administration & Urban Development P Narayana said that the meeting approved the tenders with regard to various works in the capital city of Amaravati. The tenders are approved for the completion of residential towers for the gazetted officers worth Rs514.41 crore taken up during 2014-19 and for another Rs194.73 crore worth of works for creating external infrastructural facilities.

For building nine towers with Rs506.67 crore for the non-gazetted officers residential complexes too is approved and for another 12 towers besides creating basic facilities with Rs517.10 crore too are given approval by the CRDA, Mr Narayana explained.
