PVN Madhav has been appointed as the new BJP Andhra Pradesh president, aiming to strengthen the party’s organizational structure and strategic outreach ahead of upcoming state and national elections.

BJP has finalised the appointment of former MLA PVN Madhav as the next president of the party for Andhra Pradesh.
He will succeed Rajamahendravaram MP Daggubati Purandeswari. Though many were in race for the prestigious post as BJP and Jana Sena have become partners in the TDP-led coalition in the State, the party leadership is understood to have finalised his candidature. Madhav's was the lone nomination submitted at the party State headquarters here on Monday.
Madhav had served as MLC during the previous TDP-led NDA Government from North Andhra Graduate's Constituency. Son of BJP veteran and former MLC late P.V. Chalapathi Rao, Madhav has been associated with the Sangh Parivar since his childhood days, He is a cost accountant and has played an active role in ABVP and BJYM. At present, he is serving as State general secretary of BJP.
