Newly appointed General Manager of South Coast Railway (SCoR) Zone Sandeep Mathur after assuming charge held a review meeting with senior officials on the ongoing developmental schemes in various divisions.
During his maiden visit to the city after assuming office, he interacted with Divisional Railway Manager Lalit Bothra and others on the ongoing works and action plan for the zone's future.
Early this year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid the foundation stone for the zone-a long pending demand of the locals.
The GM is scheduled to visit other divisions under the zone to obtain first-hand feedback on developmental activities and matters related to zone formation.
