Naidu hails adoption of Amaravati Bill

Amaravati: Amaravati Bill has been adopted in both the Houses of Parliament setting the stage to make Amaravati legally the lone capital of Andhra Pradesh.
On Thursday, AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, IT, Electronics and Education Minister Nara Lokesh and others thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his team for the smooth passage of the Bill for enactment of the amendment to make Amaravati as the capital in the AP Reorganisation Act.

In a posting on X, Nara Lokesh, who watched the passage of the Bill in Rajya Sabha on Thursday, said "#HistoricAmaravatiResolution. It was a privilege to meet Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. I conveyed the heartfelt gratitude of crores of people of #AndhraPradesh for the #Amaravati Bill being passed in Parliament.
