NABL-accredited Paques lab boosts Sri City’s sustainability mission
Facility offers rapid, reliable water and wastewater quality testing

Sri City: In a significant boost to Sri City’s “Clean & Green” initiative, Paques India inaugurated its state-of-the-art National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL)-accredited Water & Wastewater Testing Laboratory on Wednesday. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr Ravindra Sannareddy, Managing Director of Sri City, as the Chief Guest.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sannareddy said the new laboratory marks a milestone in Sri City’s journey toward building a sustainable industrial ecosystem. “This NABL-accredited facility strengthens our mission to maintain a clean and green environment while providing industries with faster, reliable, and accurate water and wastewater analysis,” he remarked. He added that Paques chose Sri City as its operational hub in 2015, impressed by its conducive ecosystem, and that their presence now enhances the region’s vision of harmonising industry, innovation, and sustainability.
Sudeep Sangameswaran, Managing Director of Paques India, highlighted the company’s commitment to delivering world-class wastewater and biogas treatment solutions. He emphasised that the new laboratory exemplifies Paques’ dedication to innovation, the “Make in India” initiative, and sustainable resource management, offering industries local access to advanced testing capabilities.
Mr. Ganesh Chidambaram, Vice President – Manufacturing and Application, guided attendees through the laboratory, showcasing its European-standard infrastructure and advanced biodegradability testing facilities. The lab offers certified testing for over 30 water and wastewater parameters and features an exclusive biome-thane potential (BMP) capability to support biogas recovery and enhance sustainability. Its specialised biodegradability testing enables industries to optimise biogas generation and improve efficiency in effluent treatment plant (ETP) operations, making it a critical resource for businesses in and around Sri City.
