The launch of regional Ratan Tata Innovation Hub in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday saw the signing of MoUs with TiE Vizag, DeepTech Naipunya Foundation (DTNF), TiHAN IIT Hyderabad, Alcove Partners LLP, Information Technology Association of Andhra Pradesh (ITAAP), Atlas Concilio Private Limited, Laya Green Ventures Pvt. Ltd. (LGV), CII-Young Indians (Yi) Vizag Chapter.
The hub was officially inaugurated here marking a new dawn for entrepreneurial growth and technological advancement in the region. The grand ceremony, held simultaneously with the Statewide launch of innovation hubs from Amaravati by Chief Minister N, Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh, brought together a distinguished gathering of political leaders, industry stalwarts, and academic visionaries. The event showcased a unified commitment to fostering a robust startup ecosystem and nurturing the next generation of innovators.
The inauguration was graced by Palla Srinivas Rao, MLA and TDP State president, Dr. Vepada Chiranjeevi Rao, MLC & Government Whip, P.G.V.R. Naidu, MLA and Government Whip, Gade Srinivassula Naidu, MLC, Peela Srinivas Rao, Mayor, and Gandi Babji, Chairman, AP Oil Fed
Key representatives from the industrial sector attended the event underlining the collaborative spirit of the initiative. These included Tata Teja from GMR, Dr. Suresh from Divis Labs, M. Ravindranath from AM/NS. Dr. Dhananjaya from Andhra University, Dr. Raja Pappu from GITAM and Dr. Vijay from IIPE.
The ceremony featured addresses from several dignitaries, including Collector of Vizag, M. N. Harendhira Prasad, Joint Collector K. Mayur Ashok and Metropolitan Commissioner of VMRDA KS Vishwanathan.
