MEPMA Andhra Pradesh has won 9 prestigious SKOCH Awards for excellence in urban poverty alleviation, women empowerment, and livelihood programs across the state.
MEPMA AP bags 9 prestigious SKOCH Awards

Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA), Andhra Pradesh, has been
conferred with nine SKOCH Platinum Awards for its exemplary contribution to urban poverty alleviation.
The prestigious honour recognises MEPMA’s innovative and impactful initiatives, which have transformed the lives of urban communities across Andhra Pradesh and have set a benchmark for other States to emulate.
The SKOCH Platinum Award, regarded as India’s honest independent honour, is a testament to MEPMA’s unwavering commitment to empowering urban communities and addressing the challenges of poverty through sustainable and inclusive development programs.
Out of 14 projects submitted by MEPMA, nine projects have received the prestigious award after passing through a multi-stage scrutiny process.
The awards received by MEPMA include Nivasam: Web & App based IT Platform for providing safe and secure housing for the urban homeless, Livelihood Tracker: Leveraging technology for monitoring and enhancing livelihoods, Bank Linkage Scheme: Strengthening financial inclusion through SHG-bank linkages, Empowering SHG Women through E-Commerce: Facilitating online market access and linkage with ONDC & non-ONDC platforms.
Speaking on the occasion, N Tej Bharath, Mission Director, MEPMA, expressed his gratitude to the Government of Andhra Pradesh and able guidance provided by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Municipal Administration Minister P. Narayana and others.
