'Mana Badi–Mana Badhyatha' to improve educational standards launched in Guntur

The Guntur district administration has launched an innovative programme to improve school education standards.
With a special focus on creating interest in studies especially among Class IX and X students and enhancing their awareness about higher education and employment opportunities, the programme aims to achieve 100 percent results in the Class X examinations.
As part of this initiative, titled “Mana Badi – Mana Badhyatha” (Our School –
Our Responsibility), District Collector A. Thameem Ansariya has issued orders appointing district-level officers as special officers for supervision of 185 high schools in the district.
The programme focuses on reducing mental stress among Class IX and X students, improving their concentration on studies, identifying subjects in which students are lagging behind, and providing effective training in those subjects while removing fear. Emphasis is also being laid on motivating students to pursue higher education in the same subjects and develop expertise in them. The specially appointed officers will act as mentors and provide counselling to students. Inspiration will also be given by sharing the life stories of individuals who have achieved success in various fields.
Speaking on the occasion, Collector Ansariya said that many students are losing valuable opportunities due to lack of proper awareness. She stated that providing students with good guidance, suggestions, counselling, and information on higher education and employment opportunities would lay a strong foundation for their future.
That is why the “Mana Badi – Mana Badhyatha” programme is being implemented by appointing district officers as special officers, she explained. She added that the officers’ personal experiences would also be highly beneficial to students.
The Collector expressed hope that the programme would help boost students’ self-confidence and strengthen their mental resilience.
