KIOCL starts pellet supply to RINL

Loading of pellets has commenced at KIOCL for supply to Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), marking the start of a partnership that is expected to strengthen the domestic steel ecosystem.

In a post on X, Union Steel and Heavy Industries Minister HD Kumaraswamy stated on Sunday that KIOCL plans to supply two million tonnes of pellets to RINL over the next year, a step that will boost production, ensure raw material security, and contribute to our vision of a self-reliant steel sector.

He said "this synergy reflects the commitment of our CPSEs towards #AatmanirbharBharat and #ViksitBharat2047 under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi avaru. Together, we are forging the steel backbone of a stronger, more resilient India."
