IndiGo Flight Between Vizag, Bhubaneswar Soon

Visakhapatnam: Following requests from Odisha Governor K Hari Babu and representatives from trade and commerce of Andhra Pradesh, IndiGo has decided to operate a direct flight between Visakhapatnam and Bhubaneswar from next month.

Dr Hari Babu, who is a former MP from Visakhapatnam, had made a strong plea to IndiGo to launch the direct flight as both the cities have a lot of business connections and many Odias and Telugus have relationships with their counterparts in the bordering States.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Air Travellers' Association (APATA) representatives O. Naresh Kumar, K Kumara Raja and DS Varma and Tours and Travels Association of Andhra (TTAA) president K Vijay Mohan and secretary P Srinivasa Kumar thanked IndiGo for its decision to establish air connectivity between Odisha's capital and AP's largest commercial hub.
