As part of the nation-wide Swachhata Pakhwada, IIM Visakhapatnam organised a beach cleaning drive at RK Beach, engaging students and staff in coastal conservation and awareness activities to promote environmental sustainability.

Visakhapatnam: As part of the nation-wide Swachhata Pakhwada, IIM Visakhapatnam organised a beach cleaning drive at RK Beach. Staff, and students actively participated, demonstrating their commitment to environmental sustainability and community well-being. A staff member who took part in the initiative mentioned, “We take up beach cleaning drives regularly. It’s a matter of pride and responsibility for us to keep our shores clean and to inspire the community to adopt sustainable practices.” The initiative also included an awareness walk along the beach to promote the importance of maintaining clean and green surroundings. Through these efforts, IIM Visakhapatnam reaffirmed its dedication to preserving the coastal environment and encouraging responsible community practices.
