Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) on Sunday observed the 143rd birth anniversary of Seth Walchand Hirachand Doshi, a visionary industrialist and founder of of the premier shipyard.
Rich tributes were paid by Cmde Girideep Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of HSL and the Functional Directors and representatives from officers association and recognised staff & workmen union. They garlanded the Seth Walchand bust.
HSL remembered his contribution to India's industrial growth and unwavering commitment to the Nation's progress.
"This year His dreams came true and HSL became Miniratna and his words continue to inspire all of us for dedication to the values of innovation, quality and excellence that he instilled, honouring his legacy and striving for greater achievement in the years ahead," a company spokesperson said.
