HSL, GRSE enter into strategic collaboration

Visakhapatnam: Visakhapatnam-headquartered Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) has entered into a consortium agreement with Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE). The agreement is with an aim to compliment the strengths of large Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs). While the immediate objective is participation in tenders by the Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) for Medium Range (MR) Tankers & Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGCs). Sources said the agreement is structured as a broader collaborative framework enabling both shipyards to jointly pursue future projects based on mutual agreement, thereby enhancing our collective competitiveness in complex shipbuilding programs.
