HSL Gets Award For Digital Transformation

Visakhapatnam: Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) has been recognised for its contributions to ‘Digital Transformation’ in the maritime sector, securing a prestigious award at the Governance Now 10 th PSU IT Forum and awards ceremony held in New Delhi.

The award is given to organisations in the public sector for making India truly a ‘Digital Nation.’. Cmde Rakesh Prasad, Director (Corporate Planning & Personnel), HSL received the ‘IT Service Management’ Award for successfully implementing key IT applications/reforms at HSL. His efforts have strengthened digital systems, improved efficiency, and supported the broader vision of building a ‘Digital India’.

HSL was honoured in the other PSU category, alongside leading Maharatna, Navratna, Miniratna, and State PSUs. HSL remains committed to exploring and adopting emerging technologies to drive innovation and accelerate digital transformation in the maritime sector, a company spokesperson said.
