The double engine government led by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, with the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will work to put Andhra Pradesh at the forefront in the development, said 20 Point Programme Implementation Lanka Dinakar.

He told the media here that the schemes, projects and P4 program implemented by the State Government along with the Central schemes and projects are very much helpful in reducing poverty in Andhra Pradesh, in which the performance of “Aspirational Districts” and “Aspirational Blocks” is very crucial.

The districts that are very backward due to geographical conditions are identified as “Aspirational Districts” and the efforts to make them compete on an equal footing with other districts through convergence of central and state schemes and corporate social responsibility funds with special attention to the welfare and development of the people living in those districts will be successful.

He said Chief MinisterN. Chandrababu Naidu's "P4" policy, through which the cooperation of the upper and wealthy classes for poverty eradication and the use of corporate social responsibility funds to bring light to the lives of the poor, will contribute to the development and welfare of aspirational districts.

Dinakar said very soon, the review on the performance of “Aspirational Districts” and “Aspirational Blocks” will be held to report to the higher authorities and implement corrective measures to further enforce their implmentation.

He informed that under "Sabka Saath - Sabka Vikas - Sabka Viswas," 117 under developed and most socio-economically challenged districts have been identified in the country, in which three (ASR District, Manyam Parvathipuram and YSR Kadapa ) districts are located in Andhra Pradesh including 15 blocks out of 500 identified by the NITI Aayog.

He said the mandals are facing scarce infrastructure, limited connectivity and a daily struggle for basic amenities like 11 indicators, such as landless household dependent on manual labour (deprivation ), ante natal care, institutional deliveries, stunting or wasting of the children below five years (health ), elementary drop-out rate-adverse pupil teacher ratio (education), unelectrified households, households without toilets, unconnected PMGSY village, rural households without access to water (iInfrastructure).
