Vijayawada: Eight students from government secondary schools in rural Andhra Pradesh are in Bengaluru this week to transform their innovative AI concepts into working prototypes through hands-on development at the Amazon Future Engineer (AFE) Makerspace Lab. Makerspace Lab is a collaborative learning space for under-served students in grades 5th to 12th with immersive, hands-on learning experiences, equipping them with innovative technological skills to become future change-makers.
The eight students emerged as the top participants from among 39 student innovators who competed in “Hack to the Future Andhra 2025”, a State-wide hackathon held in June this year as part of Andhra Pradesh’s new AI curriculum initiative supporting more than 23,000 students across 99 schools.
