Twenty Point Program Implementation Committee Chairman Lanka Dinakar on Wednesday stated that the vision of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is to realise a “Swarna Andhra Pradesh,” while Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mission is to achieve a “Viksit Bharat.”
The key to both these goals lies in attracting and effectively utilising investments. Even before the upcoming CII Investors' Summit in Visakhapatnam, the State has already attracted ₹11 lakh crore worth of investments, reflecting the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Naidu, he pointed out.
Through big ticket projects like Google’s $15 billion investment, the Chief Minister has been encouraging every investor with the same enthusiasm and inclusiveness.
Just three days before the State’s biggest industrial summit, he virtually inaugurated 49 small and medium industrial parks across 17 districts from a backward area like Kanigiri—a move that demonstrates his commitment to giving equal importance to small industries even while major industrial discussions are underway, Dinakar said.
During the MSME conference at Kanigiri, Chief Minister Naidu remarked that through the empowerment of DWCRA women, the double engine sarkar is working to create one entrepreneur in every family—and this is being implemented in action, not just in words.
He said the State Government is preparing plans to establish micro, small, medium, and large industries in every Assembly constituency across Andhra Pradesh.
Dinkar informed that currently, 30% of India’s GDP and over 40% of exports come from the MSME sector. The double engine sarkar aims to raise Andhra Pradesh’s contribution in this domain through robust support to MSMEs.
The support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the State’s three industrial corridors and for industrial hubs such as Kopparthy and Orvakal is invaluable. Leveraging these industrial and logistics infrastructures, Chief Minister Naidu is successfully attracting new investments through his administrative efficiency, he declared.
