Under its CSR initiative, NTPC Simhadri laid the foundation stone for the construction of a dormitory hall at the BC Welfare Hostel, Vadacheepurupalli, in Parawada mandal.
The project with a total outlay of ₹50 lakh, aims to provide better infrastructure and inclusive educational support to students from the marginalised communities. The ceremony was attended by MLA of Pendurthi Panchakarla Ramesh Babu, who laid the foundation stone. He appreciated the continuous efforts of NTPC Simhadri in uplifting local communities and making education more inclusive. The event was attended by NTPC officials along with local sarpanches and BC welfare school officials.
