Comprehensive profiling of SHGs In Urban Areas Completed

Amaravati: As per the directions of Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N Chandrababu Naidu, a TOT (Training of Trainers) session was held on Tuesday at Tadepalli near here.
The training was conducted under the guidance of Principal Secretary of the Municipal Administration and Urban Development S Suresh Kumar and MEPMA Mission Director N Tej Bharat. The training focused on the MLCC modules and various MEPMA schemes and was attended by representatives from SLBC and banks. In his remarks, Suresh Kumar stated that under the jurisdiction of MEPMA, comprehensive data profiling of self-help groups (SHGs) in urban areas across Andhra Pradesh has been completed through the SHG Profiling App. A total of 2,74,873 groups comprising 28,39,046 (99.41 per cent) members have been digitised. This data linkage with banks will assist in thorough verification during loan sanctions. For this purpose, the MLCC (MEPMA Loan Charge Creation) module was developed. Through this data integration, details of SHG members and verification of other loans linked to their Aadhaar numbers become easier.
