Amaravati: Bill Gates, Founder-Chairman of the Gates Foundation, along with a delegation from the foundation, will visit Andhra Pradesh on Monday.

According to official sources on Sunday, Gates will hold detailed discussions with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and IT Minister Nara Lokesh on expanding collaboration across key sectors such as education, health, and agriculture.

With the support of the Gates Foundation, the State Government aims to further scale up several ongoing projects in these sectors, the sources said.

Bill Gates is scheduled to arrive at the State Secretariat at 10 am, where he will visit the RTGS Centre to review the use of technology in governance. Chief Minister Naidu will brief Gates on Andhra Pradesh’s real-time governance framework and its outcomes.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister, Cabinet colleagues, and senior officials from various departments will hold a comprehensive meeting with the Gates Foundation team.

Naidu will also make a presentation on reforms aligned with the Swarnandhra Vision–2047, covering public health, agriculture, education, and allied sectors. The presentation will include an overview of initiatives such as medtech innovations, diagnostic services, and the Sanjeevani programme. A detailed demonstration of the Sanjeevani project, implemented in collaboration with the Gates Foundation, will also be given.

Later in the day, the Gates Foundation team will visit a farm near Undavalli village in Amaravati to observe farming practices that leverage drone and AI-based technologies.
