Ball Corporation, a global leader in sustainable aluminum packaging, announced a strategic investment in Andhra Pradesh, reinforcing its long-term commitment to meeting growing customer demand and strengthening the local supply chain in India.
In a landmark ceremony attended by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Ball Corporation officially signed a MoU with the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The agreement represents a significant investment commitment in the state and marks the beginning of a partnership.
The proposed investment, estimated at USD 58 million in the coming years, will focus on expanding innovative infrastructure and building state-of-the-art facilities at the Sri City plant.
In addition to strengthening the company’s operations in India, this investment is expected to generate substantial employment opportunities for the local population, including the creation of 25 direct jobs and 25 indirect jobs.
Speaking at the ceremony, Manish Joshi, Regional Commercial Director, Asia, Ball Beverage Packaging India expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating: “We are excited to collaborate with the Andhra Pradesh Government on this transformative journey. Our investment in Andhra Pradesh is driven by the State’s potential and our shared vision for creating impactful opportunities and long-term value."
