AU alumni annual meet on Saturday

Andhra University Annual Alumni Meet (WAVES-2025) will be held here on Saturday under the auspices of AU Alumni Association (AAA) with the active support of Association of Andhra University.

Nominated Rajya Sabha MP and philanthropist Sudha Murty, who is the Founder Chairperson of Infosys Foundation and Chairperson, Murty Trust, will be the chief guest. Dr G.M.Rao, founder Chairman, AAA, an eminent industrialist and an illustrious alumnus of AU, will preside. The theme of WAVES-2025 is women empowerment.

The meeting aims to bring alumni from various affiliated colleges, alumni from various countries, campus colleges, academicians, researchers, and members from the university community. The program will include reflections from the alumni on the centennial journey of the Institutions and felicitations to the distinguished Alumni. This year alumni from overseas, Delhi, Hyderabad, Amaravathi and Godavari chapters are expected to participate.

Andhra University Alumni are committed to support its alma mater and fostering relationships with the Industry. Alumni bond with alma mater strengthens AU's journey of excellence and heritage. Alumni will extend its support to make AU a global university of par excellence. The university shall be a place of learning for the students across the globe, a spokesperson for AAA, said.
