Amaravati: Overwhelmed by the encouraging response from investors at Davos, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday said the government is committed to developing Andhra Pradesh as a hub for AI-driven creative companies.

Naidu said he met Kishore Lulla, Ridhima Lulla, and Swaneet Singh of Eros Innovations to discuss sovereign GenAI initiatives for the State. These initiatives a GenAI model, a content super app, academic integration, an AI-powered Film City, virtual production studios, an AI Creative Tech Hub, and the virtual reality tourism initiative ‘Discover Andhra Pradesh 360’. “These efforts aim to position Andhra Pradesh at the forefront of the AI and digital content economy while creating meaningful opportunities for our youth,” he said.

Participating in a programme organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Naidu said his government is making sincere efforts to generate at least one entrepreneur from every family. Making a strong pitch to the Telugu diaspora, he said the government is creating a ₹50-crore support fund for Non-Resident Telugus (NRTs).

He said that in Silicon Valley, among all the States, Telugu people account for the largest share of jobs. “I am not asking them to come back, but they can contribute to creating entrepreneurs in each family,” he said. He added that NRT couples should explore business opportunities, with at least one of them taking up entrepreneurship as a shared family decision. In a post on X, Naidu said Andhra Pradesh will be a leader in shaping the future of quantum technology. “We have already taken significant steps through our plans for a Quantum Valley and large-scale skilling initiatives, aimed at building a strong and supportive quantum ecosystem,” he said.

He added that at Davos, he had a productive meeting with Arvind Krishna, Chairman and CEO of IBM. “We discussed the Quantum Computing Centre in Amaravati, the establishment of a Quantum Innovation Centre, and training one million youth of Andhra Pradesh in artificial intelligence,” he said.
