AP to use AI in all depts for efficient governance

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has advised the officials to increase efficiency in governance by using artificial intelligence in all departments. The Chief Minister held a review on RTGS and public positive perception with the officials at the camp office on Monday and discussed various issues.

Naidu told the officials to bring a mechanism to integrate and utilise drone, CCTV cameras and satellite information. To provide the best services to the people and to improve the performance, the officers must visit the field. It has been clarified that the official machinary should be vigilant and take precautionary measures regarding the accidents and incidents happening in the State, he said.

The Chief Minister made it clear that the officials should go to Sivakasi in Tamil Nadu and study the measures to prevent the recurrence of explosions in firecracker manufacturing units.

Keeping in view the ensuing summer, measures should be taken to ensure that passengers do not face any problem for drinking water at RTC bus stations. The Chief Minister said there should be conditions to make the journey comfortable from the arrival at the bus station to the destination.

Moreover, special attention should be paid to the Swarna villages and Swarna wards, which are at the lowest position, so that there is no shortfall in the distribution of pensions. Also, the Chief Minister issued clear instructions to the officials not to trouble the people and government personnel for repeating the same information, unless surveys are conducted only for additional information. On the other hand, the officials explained to the Chief Minister that WhatsApp Manamitra services have been expanded in the State.
