AP Rising as India’s Growth Engine: Nara Lokesh at CII Investment Summit

Nara Lokesh at the CII Investment Summit, citing Vizag as one of India's chief centers of economic scaling in Andhra Pradesh.
Lokesh said that the government is draining in the state's overall development, with a special emphasis on speeding up creation of Amaravati, and also creating special economic zones in Visakhapatnam fostering international investments.
Clearance was first on the agenda: How fast could the investors be cleared, ultimately turning into favorable policies for investment?
Stated Lokesh: "We will simplify the entire process for all clearances, allotment of land, faster permission, and support for proposal approval and movement from proposal to production." One persistent benchmark given for assessing governance was the very high degree of coordination between the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, and Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Lokesh classified the issue among other things to stress that every INTO held by the entrepreneurs in Andhra Pradesh is held on behalf of the government, giving its pledge to proffer all-round support and friendly schemes to industries.
Aircraft Manufacturing to Take New Leap in Andhra
Speaking at the summit, the Hon’ble Minister for Civil Aviation, Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, observed that unprecedented infrastructure development was under progress in the state under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
He mentioned the following:
Apart from the seven airports working at full capacity, there is a proposed plan for the construction of seven more.
Ports and airports are being constructed with international standards and on world-class standards.
Rammohan Naidu articulated that the idea was to create an aerospace and aircraft manufacturing ecosystem in AP, thus reinforcing the state's urge to become the national capital of advanced industries.
Andhra Pradesh is in an active state of diligence in the face of significant infrastructure development, growth in manufacturing, and having a positive investment climate, and this will play a transformative role in India's economy in the future.
