AP releases job calendar, to notify dates of recruitment in advance

Amaravati: IT, Electronics and Education Minister Nara Lokesh on Telugu New Year released a job calendar for filling 10,000 posts.Stating that they will unveil the job calendar every year on Ugadi day, he said the date of issuing the notification will be disclosed in advance.
Lokesh said they will begin the recruitment of 1500 vacancies in teaching in the Higher Education Department on May 15.
The notification will be issued for 91 Group-1 posts, 2778 in Home Department, 928 in other departments will be notified on August 15. This will be followed by notification for 750 Group-2 posts, 503 AEE posts, 506 other posts on September 15.
According to the job calendar, the government will issue notification to fill 3,004 posts in school and intermediate education on October 15. During last year, 16,000 DSC posts were filled--which was a major promise made at the time of general elections by the TDP and its allies.
