Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (AP Chambers) on Tuesday announced the holding of the second edition of its business expo here from December 12 to 14.

The decision was taken at the board meeting held in Vijayawada under the chairmanship of its president Potluri Bhakara Rao. Board members from diverse sectors from across the State participated in the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion Bhaskara Rao said the first edition of business expo organised by AP Chambers in November 2024 in Vijayawada was a huge success, marking one of the largest business gatherings in the region.

With participation from more than 150 exhibitors representing diverse sectors, the expo served as a vibrant platform for networking, collaboration, and showcasing innovations. The Expo featured sectoral seminars on all the three days, which drew

wide participation from industrialists and entrepreneurs and witnessed an impressive footfall of over 30,000 visitors across three days.

“AP Chambers Business Expo 2025 is a premier event that will attract a diverse audience including MSMEs, entrepreneurs, industrialists, industry professionals, innovators, service providers, and consumers from across Andhra Pradesh. The expo will feature around 160 exhibitors and is estimated to have around 30,000 plus footfalls. The exhibition will provide a unique platform for networking, knowledge exchange, collaboration, and business growth. The expo will feature parallel sectoral seminars with participation from Ministers, bureaucrats, entrepreneurs, and subject matter experts," he stated.

AP Chambers called upon the businesses based in Andhra Pradesh to utilise this opportunity by participating in the business expo, which offers them a unique platform for networking, knowledge exchange, collaboration, and business growth. During the deliberations, AP Chambers expressed hope that the State Government will release the second instalment of the incentives during this month. The Chambers’ Board members opined that the power charges in Andhra Pradesh are quite high compared with other states and form the major portion of the production costs for industries.

Bhaskara Rao appealed to the State Government to bring down the power charges and stated that lowering the power charges will help MSMEs and large industries cut down costs and also attract more investments to the State.

Among others, B. Raja Sekhar, AP Chambers executive vice president; Subbarao Ravuri, general secretary and S. Akkaiah Naidu, treasurer participated in the board meeting.
