Amaravati: Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand on Wednesday said that the Andhra Pradesh government will establish 175 MSME parks—one in each Assembly constituency—in three phases as part of its push to boost entrepreneurship and employment.

Of the 55 parks planned in the first phase, 16 have already been inaugurated, while foundation stones have been laid for 39 more, he said during a video conference with district collectors from the State Secretariat.

The meeting reviewed the progress of MSME parks, implementation of MoUs signed at the Partnership Summit-2025, conduct of District Industries and Exports Promotion Committee (DIEPC) meetings, follow-up on directives issued by the Chief Minister, public perception initiatives, and the document upload agent space. Vijayanand directed collectors to expedite the process of establishing at least one MSME park in every Assembly constituency, stressing that the initiative aims to create large-scale employment opportunities for youth by promoting micro, small and medium enterprises.

Under the second phase, MSME parks are to be established in 45 assembly constituencies. Of these, three have been inaugurated and foundation stones laid for 42 parks. In the third phase, 75 MSME parks are scheduled to be set up by the end of this month. Land for six parks has already been handed over to APIIC, while identification of land for the remaining parks is underway.

The Chief Secretary instructed collectors to take appropriate measures to expedite this process and make MSME parks available in all 175 constituencies.

He also directed collectors to fast-track projects linked to MoUs signed at the Partnership Summit-2025 in Visakhapatnam and to promptly implement the directives issued by the Chief Minister during the recent collectors’ meeting.

Secretary, Industries and Commerce, N. Yuvaraj, briefed the collectors on district-wise progress and urged them to complete land identification swiftly. He also called for the immediate constitution of District Industries and Exports Promotion Committees in all districts.

RTGS CEO Prakhar Jain, Drone Corporation CEO Suryaman Patel and APIIC VC and MD Abhishikt Kishore were present.
