Air India Express Launches ‘Freedom Sale’ With Fares Starting at ₹1,279
Air India Express marks India’s 79th Independence Day with its ‘Freedom Sale’, offering 50 lakh seats starting at ₹1,279 for domestic and ₹4,279 for international flights. Bookings open until August 15 for travel from August 19, 2024, to March 31, 2026.

To mark India’s 79th Independence Day, Air India Express has announced a ‘Freedom Sale’, offering around 50 lakh seats across its domestic and international routes at special discounted prices.
According to the airline, bookings are open until August 15 for travel between August 19, 2024, and March 31, 2026.
Domestic fares start from ₹1,279, while international fares begin at ₹4,279. Tickets can be booked exclusively on the Air India Express website and mobile app from August 10, and on all major booking platforms from August 11 to 15.
The travel period under this offer covers India’s peak festive season, including Onam, Durga Puja, Diwali, Christmas, and more.
The airline is also offering multiple fare options:
- Xpress Lite: Zero check-in baggage fare, available only on the official website.
- Xpress Value: Includes standard check-in baggage, starting at ₹1,379 for domestic and ₹4,479 for international flights.
- Xpress Biz: Premium business-class service with seat pitch of up to 58 inches, now available on over 40 newly inducted aircraft.
Air India Express currently operates a fleet of 116 aircraft, serving 38 domestic and 17 international destinations with more than 500 daily flights.
